Dr. Marianna Prokopi-Demetriades is a biotech innovator and entrepreneur. She is the co-founder of three pioneering biotech startups operating in miRNA personalized oncology, biomaterials, and supportive dermatological care, and serves as Associate Clinical Professor of Oncology Research at the Medical School of European University Cyprus. Her contributions have been recognized with numerous honors, including the Falling Walls Women’s Impact Award 2024, the Cyprus National Young Researcher Award in Life Sciences, and the King’s College London Distinguished Alumni Award in STEM. An advocate for empowering young STEM entrepreneurs and women in technology, she also serves as an Ambassador and is a TEDx speaker. Her work bridges scientific innovation and clinical application, advancing a new model of oncology care centered on patient quality of life and dignity.
