Andrea Solomonidou is a dynamic entrepreneur and strategist with over a decade of experience
founding and leading ventures across media, communications, real estate, and civic innovation.
She is the Co-Founder and COO of Black Lemon Projects, a creative production house that
blends visual storytelling with digital strategy, and the Managing Director of Cubik-S
Communications, a company acquired by Giraffes in the Kitchen in 2018. Her entrepreneurial
journey began in 2012 with Incubo Strategies, where she developed investment strategies for
urban and real estate projects. Andrea’s leadership has helped shape campaigns and brands
for major clients including Philip Morris, Wizz Air, and Coral, and she remains an active force in
projects at the intersection of innovation and public impact.
Beyond her business ventures, Andrea is a founding member of Cypriot Enterprise Link, a
pivotal network that catalyzed the local startup ecosystem through projects like Hack Cyprus
and Insights Conference. She is a passionate advocate for community-led development, having
co-founded multiple social impact initiatives such as 180moires and The Fysco Project. A YTILI
Fellow and Global Shaper alumna, Andrea is recognized globally for her thought leadership on
entrepreneurship, innovation, and the future of work—frequently invited to speak at international
forums including TEDx, INNOVEIT, and the Asia Europe Foundation. With an MBA and a
diverse academic background from institutions like Berklee College and the Royal College of
